Community Notice for the Hereford Zone -- Volunteer Drivers Needed.

Drivers Wanted for Hereford
Drivers Wanted for Hereford

Because of recent retirements, our local Meal-on-Wheels is looking for two drivers who can do at least one run a week, or every two weeks. Meals are picked up at the Faith Lutheran Church at 8 Sherwood Road in Cockeysville at around 10.30 a.m. Average drive is around an hour and the route covers an area from about Falls Road west to the Harford County line. This is a rewarding opportunity to give back to your community and meet some wonderful new friends. Please feel free to reach out to me at 443.996.5555 or emerson.probst@gmail.com if you'd like more information or would want to do a drive-along to get a feel for the task. Thank you, Hereford!

Coffee and Bakery Coming to New Freedom!

The exact date hasn't been announced, but we think it could be April or earlier! Just in time for those first rides on the NCR. As we've said often, the Probst Team has always been bullish on the rising prospects of New Freedom. The town now offers multiple restaurants and craft breweries plus the gem that is the NCR bike trail and Steam into History. And now--a coffee shop and bakery! Departure Coffee comes to us from Hanover where they've been selling world-class bagels and pasties as Salt and Sugar Bakehouse. The ownership team seems the perfect fit for our burgeoning railroad town--enthusiastic, upbeat, and passionate about what they do! So if you need a daily morning stop or a place to hang and meet friends, it's coming your way!
